What do I need in order to start taking Debit and Credit card payments?
To accept debit and credit payments you’ll need a Dream Payments card reader connected to the app on your smart phone.
Device Requirements

The Dream Payments app works with Android and iOS devices that support Bluetooth.

Supported Payment Types

You can use the app to accept cash payments, after you have signed up for card payment services you’ll be able to accept debit and credit payments too. Certain industries are not eligible for support. Visit www.dreampayments.com/terms to verify eligibility

What Fees Will I Pay?

Our fees are very simple; we charge 25 cents per Interac debit transaction and 2.75% for Visa and MasterCard credit transactions.

Am I Eligible For an Account?

You need to be over 18 to create a Dream Payments account. If you wish to accept debit and credit transactions you’ll also need to pass an identity check and have an eligible business.

Where to Purchase a Card Reader

You can purchase a card reader from ShopDreamPayments.com or from select TELUS stores across Canada.

Card Reader Warranty and Returns

Your card reader is warranted against defects for a period of 12 months after purchase.

Updating the Card Reader Software
On occasion a software update will be provided for the Card Reader. These updates can be either optional or mandatory.
Do You Keep a Security Deposit?

Your Dream Payments account is no longer subject to the collection of a security deposit.

Why do I need a PIN?

Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) provides you an additional layer of protection.

I Forgot my Password

You can recover your password by clicking “Forgot Password?” at the login prompt.

I Forgot my PIN

If you have forgotten your PIN, you should call customer support for assistance.

Where Can I Use The Card Reader?

You can use your card reader anywhere within Canada.

How do I Process a Refund?

You can process a refund through the mobile app.

How do I Get Paid?

To get paid, you’ll need to register a bank account where we can deposit your funds.
