Sign up For Debit And Credit Services

You can apply for debit and credit services as part of the account creation process or apply later from the Settings menu.

After you have created your account, you will be asked if you would like to sign up for debit and credit services. If you decide to sign up later, you can access the application from the Settings menu in both the mobile app and the web portal (Settings > Business Settings > Card Payments)

When you sign up for debit and credit services we will need to get some more details to help us confirm your identity and learn more about your business.

Please provide your full legal name (as used on government documents) and your correct date of birth. We will automatically re-enter any personal details you already provided during account creation, but please review and confirm that they are correct (If we can’t identify you using the provided details, we won’t be able to enable debit and credit services).

There is a field for your Social Insurance Number. You are NOT required to provide it, but providing it helps us to identify you and may speed up your application.

To make sure we configure your account correctly, we’ll ask some questions about your business (E.g. is it a seasonal business? Is it a registered business?). Once you have provided business information you will need to review and accept the terms and conditions associated with accepting debit and credit payments.
